Diaper buying guide

Posted by ASTA Services on

Here, we are going to see all about diapers. Diapers (or Nappy) are largely classified into two. Disposable & Cloth diapers.

 Disposable diapers vs. Cloth diapers

Which one to buy? Disposable diapers are definitely more convenient than cloth diapers. But they are costly.

Cloth diapers are relatively cheap, as these are washable and reusable.  Some of the cloth diapers are sold along with wet free cotton inserts. And these inserts are disposable, making washing of cloths, easier.

Cloth diapers are size free & easily adjustable to fit any size. Even though many parents show interest in cloth diapers, disposable diapers are most preferred by parents and also widely used in hospitals and daycare centres.

Consider cloth diaper, when you are on budget and environment friendly.

  Disposable diapers

Disposable diapers are absorbent pads in between two layers of non woven fabric. This absorbent pad contains super absorbent polymer chemicals.

 Types of Disposable diapers

 Pant diapers

Pant diapers are easier to wear, particularly when the baby is out of the home.

These diapers have an elastic band around the waist and legs and fit comfortably.

Babies can move around easily, without worrying about diaper coming out and leakage.

Exclusive diapers to use while swimming is also available (Like Splashers from Pampers). These diapers fit like swimwear and also has double leak-proof, to avoid leakages in the pool.

Taped diapers

It is for the newborn babies of age up to 6 months, those who are not started to sit and stand, as wearing these diapers are relatively easier than pants.
